Advanced Plus (Section 1) Tuesdays

The Advanced Plus Level spans 3-4 sessions depending on the pace of each group (Advanced Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4 if needed).  We will help you to expand your vocabulary, distinguish between the indicative and subjunctive mood, and apply these skills in natural speech.  You will continue to master the past tenses, as well as irregular verbs.  Our approach immerses the student into a pure Spanish environment where s/he can think, understand, and speak the language.

Classes run for 9 weeks and meet 1 day per week for 2 hours.  Classes are live via zoom with a small group interactive approach. 

A textbook is required, and you may purchase it from us for $50 or purchase it on your own using IBSN 9788418224898 Aula Internacional Plus 5: Libro del Alumno. The same book is used in Advanced Plus Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4 (no need to purchase again if you already have it).  If you purchase the textbook through us, you will receive an email 5-7 days before class starts with pick up instructions.  PLEASE BE PATIENT!  We don't receive the books until the week before classes begin.  If you haven't heard from us within 5 days of class starting, please email us. 

Make-up Classes: It’s no problem to miss 1 or 2 classes during the session.  Your teacher will send you homework to help you keep up.  We always review material from each previous class.  If there is space available in another class of the same level on a different day that you can attend instead, we will try our best.  However, our classes are very small and often do fill up, so please don’t count on this. You may also ask your teacher to record a class for you (this is at the discretion of the other students in the class if they agree to be recorded via zoom).
